TY to Sue Luterzo for outstanding scholarship luncheon. 5 members attended the State Fall Conference at the Battleground CC, Manalapan, Oct. 22. Topics covered: Report Writing, Membership, Shining Future Endowment Campaign and CASA of NJ. 24 PJs were donated. Meeting for Year-end Committee Reports , Fri., Jan. 4, 10 AM, Duggan Bldg. Submit Project Report Forms. Sign-up sheet for “Souper Bowl” at January general meeting was passed. Guest speaker will be a rep. from NJNG. Keep record of volunteer hours. Jersey Shore Rescue Mission clothing drive. Visit with Eileen Hudson at Manor By the Sea. Eleanor Leone was hospitalized. FINANCIAL SECRETARY – Darlene Cecich Accountant filed for tax extension. DEPARTMENT CHAIR REPORTS ARTS CREATIVE – Kathy Reddick Wreaths will be decorated on Mon., Nov. 26 @ 2 PM at Sunrise. CONSERVATION – Laraine DeFilippi and Pat Marold 8 members and 3 guests volunteered for Clean Ocean Sweep on Sat., Oct. 20. Canvas tote bag given to each member to be used instead of plastic bags. EDUCATION – Beth Sentner Readers and activity providers needed in elementary schools. On second Fri. of each month “grandparents” read to Mountz School children from 9-10 AM. HISTORIAN – Jackie Zurla Reported on Margaret Yardley, first president of NJSFWC. TY to Michael Bagley for use of projector and Sharon Mahoney for many hours preparing video. HOME LIFE – Valerie Maltzman Info on procedure in a medical emergency. Vial of Life Program offers free decal to alert first responders. SPCA Wish List items circulated. LITERATURE /GCI REPORT – Mary Helen Sullivan Meeting, 11/26, 4:30 PM, will discuss “The Woman in the Castle” And “Lillian Boxfish Takes a Walk”. CHARITABLE GIVING – Kathleen Dittman Forms available to submit for favorite charity. $500 donation to Ashley Lauren Foundation, proceeds from Bake Sale. MEMBERSHIP – Marie Agliozzo and Dolores Farese Phyllis Crowler installed. Mary Skibola not present to be installed. Two prospective members: Carol Jerz and Nancy Zavoluk. VNA – Marie Agliozzo Items should be on a hanger in good condition, unsoiled and in season. $400 has been realized to date. SCHOLARSHIP – Anne E. Butler Reorganization meeting was held on 10/23.
